Free Time...

 

This is how I have been spending my free time lately. Not as much as I should though. I love it. Crafting makes me feel so free... so me.

Final Straw...

 

These boys do a good job at expressing what I haven't been able to express properly - How truly happy I am right now.

I have had a hard past month but things are looking up. When I think about all the ways I am blessed I can't help but smile.

I am feeling more and more like me everyday. I'm beginning to feel like the real me. The me as a child. The me that doesn't care what anyone else thinks. The me that isn't afraid anymore.

This past year has been so good. I wish I could be more specific about what has been so good but if I was, I'm afraid I would never stop typing.

This isn't to say that things haven't been hard, because they have. But I keep learning and growing and I love it. All the struggles and trials have been more than worth it to bring me to where I am now.

I'm glad April of last year happened to me. I'm glad I spent last summer frolicing with my friends in the rain and sleeping under the stars. I'm thankful for reconnecting with boys from college. I'm thankful for family that loves me no matter how crazy I can be. I'm so happy I found Vista. I'm so happy I have Jesus in my life.

Growing up, here I come!

My photography has been picking up thanks to Kelly and her willingness to work with a novice such as myself. In my dream world, Kelly and I will open up a photography studio and I'll do all the busy work as well as take pictures on the side and I'll live happily ever after.

In other news, things are good. God is keeping me on my toes, teaching me things daily and showing me how blessed I am.

Something to Write Home About...

I'm still alive. I promise.

Let me see if I can catch you up what's new from the last 5 months or so...

1. I have a new car. Dora is no longer.

2. I went to Hollywood, Florida with 3 boys. It was wonderful.

3. I know how to use a register and make fun coffee drinks. I never said I was any good though.

4. I went to the doctor and he said everything is a-ok.

5. I'm really bad at real bowling but pretty good at Wii bowling.

6. Diego is back in action!

7. I'm halfway through my Americorps year.

8. I sang in a choir. Tammy is super great.

9. I got sick. A couple times.

10. My best friend is married and about to give birth to a bouncing baby boy.

I think that about sums it up. What have you been up to?
